Lobella Loves Event - It's Good to Talk

  • L'Escargot 48 Greek Street London, England, W1D 4EF United Kingdom (map)

IT'S GOOD TO TALK:

Join us for a super special panel talk all about mental health and those who speak about mental health in the public eye.

Mental health campaigners Bryony Gordon (@bryonygordon), Michelle (@Dear_Orla) and Mary Meadows (@MaryBadassMeadows) will be discussing how they share their mental health experiences with the world, with our very own Jo Love.

Swing down to L'Escargot 48 Greek St, Soho, London W1D 4EF on Thursday 14th June at 3pm for a chat and ticket holders will be given exclusive access to the Lobella Loves First Birthday Party which will take place immediately after the panel event (until 7pm).

Meet the panellists:

Bryony @bryonygordon is a best-selling author and Telegraph columnist, whose latest book Eat Drink Run (out on 31st May) explores her relationship with running and depression. Her brilliant mental health podcast, Mad World, has welcomed guests ranging from Prince Harry to The Unmumsy Mum.

Jo @lobellaloves is founder of Lobella Loves online marketplace, winner of the Smallish Parenting Ambassador Award 2017 for its support of maternal mental health. Jo is opening up the conversation about postnatal depression through events and campaigns, including #depressionwearslippy and #TeaForPND.

Michelle @dear_Orla is a Clinical Psychologist and blogger. Michelle started writing her blog after her firstborn daughter Orla was heartbreakingly stillborn. She began writing a letter to her every day, as a way to keep her memory alive and to process her grief. Michelle’s beautifully written blog has documented the tricky path of pregnancy and parenting after loss, including the impact on her mental health, reflecting on her psychological knowledge and skills from 15 years of clinical practice.

Mary @MaryBadassMeadows is a Life Coach and NLP practitioner on a mission to help mothers feel good about themselves in all areas of their lives and to give them the tools and techniques they need to support themselves when life runs at 100mph. Mary has created a supportive social media community and spoken openly about her own experiences with PND, Depression and severe anxiety disorder in order to help others feel less alone.

We can’t wait to see you on the 14th and hope you will be able to stay on for some celebratory drinks for the Lobella Loves first birthday party which will start immediately after the panel event.

Sadly the venue does not accommodate small people or prams (there are open stairs and no space for multiple buggies sadly) therefore if you are attending please leave the kids at home (attended of course!).

Spaces are limited so book your tickets asap…
